Heparin & Chondroitin derived Oligosaccharides

Dextra UK offers a range of heparin, heparan and chondroitin sulphate derived oligosaccharides ranging from the disaccharide units up to polymeric material akin to the natural material. All of these compounds are members of the glycosaminoglycan family of polysaccharides which are important components of connective tissue. Glycosaminoglycans, which are also known as mucopolysaccharides, consist of repeating units of a disaccharide unit consisting of a sulfated hexuronic acid linked to a variously sulphated hexosamine.
